... why is the 'Technical Discussions' category labeled "TQ", not e.g. "TD"?

Maybe it once was "Technical Questions"? Alan, your call :)
I have no idea. It was ages since I set that up.
I will change it.
Alan
Done. Happy? 😁
Hate to mention it Alan but the Threads page has now stopped listing on my machine ...
It's back OK ... ta!
It depends. For me it vanished some hours ago, then reappeared and now again vanished. Maybe after my post here ot will reappear, let's see :)
/edit/ Unfortunately not. Alan, when this happened last time (many months ago), what helped? It resorted itself or we had to ask for restart?
Here also an empty threads page 😒
Can you post a screenshot of what you see please? I've never seen this.
Also, tell me what browser and what O/S you are using?
thanks
Alan

Dell desktop, Win 11, FireFox.
Same here ... OK again, page was not white because I have a dark Custom Style ...
And does it happen when you press the "Threads" menu item at the top?
It sounds like the download of the http data doesn'tcomplete if that is the case. What does a browser refresh do?
Alan
And does it happen when you press the "Threads" menu item at the top?
yes ... but only when there is an issue ... posts don't load but still says "there are no more posts in this thread" at bottom.

Nothing changes when it's working.

OK - it's not a browser download issue.
Are you able to see the source code? In Firefox, you go to "browser tools" then "page source" - there's probably something similar in other browsers. If most of the page is blank, there shouldn't be too much in there. Can you cut & paste it into a reply if it's not too long?

Do you want the code right now when there is no issue these past few days?
Ted.
