2008 Marathon Navigator's Watch
A nice example of this popular U.S. Military watch, made in accordance with MIL-PRF-46374G type III. Three-year old tritium vials glow very well indeed. Bi-directional rotating bezel, excellent for showing a second time zone or for timing boiled eggs.
Stainless steel snap-on back, gasketed inside, with all the markings required by MIL-PRF-46374G. Date shown is the Contract Date, not the date of manufacture. Still got the plastic sticker on it. The movement is a Swiss-made ETA F06.111, 3-jewel quartz, 11-1/2 ligne size. The crown has 3-positions, so there's likely a date wheel hidden under the dial. The battery is a 371, not a 395.
Comes in a cheap throw-away box with a bar-coded label and a small instruction sheet inside.
Originally provided with a one-piece 20mm black nylon strap per MIL-S-46383, I prefer MWR's "Beefy" model which has a extra keeper to deal with all that spare length.
